As such, part of our service will involve us or our third party partners using and sharing your contact information with others in the appropriate industry.

We may generate statistical information regarding our user-base and use it to analyze our Site or business. We also may use users' data in the aggregate to improve our features, content, and data-processing and Site algorithms. Also we may use the automatic usage information collected to maintain, secure and improve our Site, and to understand your categories when visiting our Site.

Security of Your Information

We take organizational, technical and administrative measures designed to protect the information you provide through the Site that is under our control. For example, only employees who need access to Personal Information to perform specific tasks are granted such access and all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. With Whom May Pricelock Share Your Information?

Statistical and Aggregate Information. We may share aggregated and statistical information with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. Any aggregated and statistical information shared in these contexts will not contain Personal Information.

Data Storage. We store the information you submit and your account information (including Personal Information) on servers that may be owned and operated by third party providers.

Advertisers. We may allow advertisers and/or merchant partners (“Advertisers”) to choose the demographic information of users who will see their advertisements and/or promotional offers and you agree that we may provide any of the information we have collected from you in non-personally identifiable form to an Advertiser, in order for that Advertiser to select the appropriate audience for those advertisements and/or offers. For example, we might use the fact you are located in San Francisco to show you ads or offers for San Francisco businesses.

We may deliver a file to you through the Services (known as a “web beacon”) from an ad network. Web beacons allow ad networks to provide anonymized, aggregated auditing, research and reporting for us and for advertisers. Web beacons also enable ad networks to serve targeted advertisements to you when you visit other websites. Because your web browser must request these advertisements and web beacons from the ad network’s servers, these companies can view, edit, or set their own cookies, just as if you had requested a web page from their site. You may be able to opt-out of web beacon tracking by adjusting the settings on your browser.

Service Providers. We also may rely on various third-party service providers, and contractors to provide services that support the Site and our operations, including, without limitation, maintenance of our databases, distribution of emails and newsletters on our behalf, data analysis, marketing and market research, payment processing and other services of an administrative nature. Such third-parties may have access to your Personal Information for the purpose of performing the service for which they have been engaged. These third parties are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, are required to implement reasonable safeguards to protect your Personal Information and to utilize your information only for the purposes of performing tasks on our behalf.

Partners and Affiliated Businesses. We may disclose or sell nonpublic personal information to other product or service providers with which we have joint marketing arrangements or to carefully selected companies who we think may offer services or products that may be of interest to you, such as job listing services, industry networking or directory services/products or providers of other energy-related products or services (such as, for example, fuel card providers), or that offer products and services with us or on our behalf. By sharing this information, we and our partners may send you promotions and special offers that we believe may be of interest to you, can provide you with a broader range of products and services, improve your experience with us, and better serve your needs. While we may seek to require such third parties to follow appropriate privacy policies and will not authorize them to use the information except for the products or services they intend to provide, we do not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of third parties.

In certain situations, businesses or third party websites we’re affiliated with may sell or provide products or services to you through or in connection with your use of the Site (either alone or jointly with us). We will share your Personal Information with that affiliated business only to the extent that it is related to such transaction or service. One such service may include the ability for you to automatically transmit account or profile information between the Site and a third party site or to view, access or submit job listing or job related information. We have no control over the policies and practices of third party websites or businesses as to privacy or anything else, so if you choose to take part in any transaction or service relating to an affiliated website or business, please review all such business’ or websites’ policies.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. Pricelock cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We may disclose Personal Information and other user information when we, in our sole discretion, have reasons to believe that disclosing this information is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may (either intentionally or unintentionally) be causing injury to or interference with our rights or property, users of our Site, or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. We may also disclose user information when we believe, in our sole discretion, that such disclosure is required by applicable law.

Business Transfers. We reserve the right to transfer any and all information that we collect from Site users, including Personal Information, to a third-party in the event of any corporate reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer or other disposition of all or any portion of Pricelock' business, assets or stock.

Pricelock is not responsible for such other users' and third parties’ use of your information. You may not, however, opt out of necessary service, operational or account maintenance notices or other administrative and transactional notices required for your use of the Site (including, without limitation, the emails you may receive from other users or from Pricelock in regard to Listings you post or respond to during your use of the Pricelock Connect Service).

This Site and our services are not directed towards users under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from users under the age of 13.
